Rockville Announces Labor Day Closures for September 1

The City of Rockville government has announced the following closures for Monday, September 1 in observance of Labor Day.

  • “City government will be closed Monday, Sept. 1 in observance of Labor Day.
  • City Hall and the following city facilities will be closed: Lincoln Park, Thomas Farm and Twinbrook community centers; the Rockville Senior Center, which will remain closed through Friday, Sept. 5 (see the article on page 2 for details); Croydon Creek Nature Center and the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre and box office, which are closed Mondays; Glenview Mansion and the Rockville Civic Center business office.
  • The Rockville Skate Park will be open.
  • Lincoln Park Community Center is closed for renovations.
  • Theater tickets are always available at www.rockvillemd.gov/theatre.
  • The Rockville Swim and Fitness Center will be open. Find details of facility hours at www.rockvillemd.gov/swimcenter.

Recycling and trash collections will occur one day later than usual throughout the week.
