Below is a list of schedule changes for Montgomery County Government for Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 1, courtesy Montgomery County:
“The Montgomery County Government, and programs that impact County residents, will have a holiday schedule and program changes for the observance of Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1.
Schedule changes for the holiday celebrating Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 1:
- Below is the transportation-related holiday schedule for the Labor Day holiday on Monday, Sept. 1:
- Ride On bus service – Will operate on a Sunday schedule. View route schedules here.
- Ride On extRa Pink and Lime bus services – Will operate on a Sunday schedule.
- Ride On extRa Route 101 (Frederick Road/Rockville Pike) and Flex bus services – Will not be in service.
- Ride On Flash bus service – The Orange Route will operate on a Weekend/Holiday schedule. The Blue Route (typically, weekday only) will not be in service.
- TRiPS Silver Spring Commuter Store – Will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- TRiPS Mobile Commuter Store – Will be closed.
- Parking at Bethesda, Silver Spring and Wheaton public garages, lots and curbside meters – Will be free.
- Metrorail and Metrobus – Metrorail will operate on a Sunday schedule from 6 a.m. to midnight. Metrobus will operate on a Sunday schedule. View timetables online here. MetroAccess customers may make a reservation to travel on this holiday; however, subscription trips will be canceled.
- MARC Train – There will be no train service. For more information, visit mta.maryland.gov/service-for-labor-day.
- MTA Commuter Bus – No service except 201 – Gaithersburg/BWI Business District, which will operate on the Weekend/Holiday “S” Schedule. Only trips with an S above them will operate. For more information, visit mta.maryland.gov/service-for-labor-day.
- MTA Transit Store – Closed.
