Montgomery County’s Department of Alcohol Beverage Services (ABS) will bring its upgraded retail concept, Oak Barrel & Vine, to North Pointe at Flower Hill at 18251 Flower Hill Way in Gaithersburg, a new 16,000-square-foot retail and restaurant center.
According to ABS, Oak Barrel & Vine stores feature a curated selection of spirits and locally made products, an expanded assortment of small-format items, a dedicated non-alcoholic section, faster checkout with queue lines, clear wayfinding, and improved customer accessibility.
Other tenants coming soon to North Pointe include PJ’s Coffee, Angelo’s Pizza Pasta & Deli, Inspire Nail Bar, and Plaza Mexico, which will anchor the center with a rooftop restaurant and bar. We will provide an update when additional details are available.
ABS is the county’s alcohol wholesaler for beer, wine, and spirits and operates 27 retail stores. The department also manages alcohol licensing, enforcement, and education for more than 1,000 businesses. ABS generates over $35 million in net income annually, which helps pay down county debt and supports resident services through the general fund.
