Community Rallies Around Family After Devastating House Fire

The community is rallying around an Aspen Hill family of five after a devastating house fire on Saturday, August 30, destroyed their home and belongings, prompting friends to launch a GoFundMe campaign to help cover temporary housing, essentials, and the long road to recovery.

“Yesterday August 30th, a fire destroyed the entire home of our friends, The Trahans who have been displaced.

Everyone is safe: Dion and Kristie and their lovely children: Ophelia (8), Sullivan (5) and baby Dean (7 months) including their sweet dog Roxie.
Everything is destroyed; their home is gone.
Immediate funds will be used for clothes, food, temporary housing, baby diapers, dog food, and essential supplies.
Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared the fundraiser, or offered words of encouragement. Please spread the word and share the link on your social media.
We will get through this together; let’s shower them with love and help
