Suspect Arrested in Domestic Violence Case

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office announced that deputies, with assistance from Anne Arundel County Police, arrested a suspect in Anne Arundel County on a probation violation warrant related to a domestic violence case.

Authorities said the individual was located and taken into custody without incident in less than two hours after deputies were notified.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office posted the following on its Facebook page on Tuesday afternoon:

Recently deputies assigned to our Criminal Section were notified of a recently issued violation of probation warrant in a case involving domestic violence. The subject had been making violent and threatening statements towards the victim via cellphone. Deputies immediately began conducting research in an effort to find the subject. They were able to locate the subject in Anne Arundel County. With the assistance of Anne Arundel County Police, the subject was arrested without incident. All in less than two hours after being notified of this extremely volatile and dangerous situation. Outstanding work by all parties involved to ensure a safe outcome. Great work!!!
