It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved Darwin Garcia Lopez, who left us on the midnight of September 2, 2025. Darwin was only 18 years old and had just graduated this year — a bright and promising young soul with so much life ahead of him. He was full of determination and had only just begun a new chapter in his life.On Monday night going into midnight, Darwin was on his way home from the gym, riding his electric bike, when he tragically hit a pothole. The impact caused him to be thrown from his bike, and he suffered a severe head injury as well as other severe injuries. His body remained on the ground until someone found him. By the time he was in the ambulance, Darwin was no longer responsive, and it was too late to save him.
Darwin leaves behind a heartbroken family — his loving mother and two younger brothers — along with countless friends who cherished him deeply. He was known for his humility, kindness, and warm spirit. Darwin never sought trouble and was a kind-hearted, passionate, and intelligent young man. Whether he was sharing laughter with friends, offering support to those in need, or dreaming about his future, Darwin’s energy was infectious. His smile had a way of lighting up every room, and his gentle nature left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
This sudden and tragic loss has not only left an unfillable void in our hearts but has also placed an unexpected financial burden on his family.
