Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a townhouse fire on the 12100 block of Pond Pine Drive in Clarksburg on Sunday evening.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, working smoke alarms alerted neighbors, who called 911, and residential sprinklers helped contain the blaze to the first floor. More than 50 firefighters responded to the scene. No injuries were reported. Damage is estimated at $75,000, and two adults and one child have been displaced.
