Maryland’s First Sixty Vines Opens October 13 in Gaithersburg

Sixty Vines, the restaurant known for its wine-on-tap program and vineyard-inspired cuisine, is opening its first Maryland location at 212 Ellington Blvd in Gaithersburg, the former site of Pour Hous, is set to officially open on Monday, October 13.

The Texas-based concept has built its reputation around a one-of-a-kind approach to wine service. With more than 60 wines available on tap, guests are invited to sample, share, and discover new favorites in a relaxed, social atmosphere. The tap system keeps each wine fresh while also reducing packaging waste, offering both a better taste and a more sustainable experience. Representatives from Sixty Vines said it was like “bringing wine country to Gaithersburg.”

The menu features “vineyard-inspired cuisine” designed to pair perfectly with wine. Diners can expect seasonal plates, pizzas, pastas, shareable boards, and entrees crafted with fresh ingredients, served in a setting that evokes the energy of a vineyard tasting room. Large communal tables and an airy, open design further emphasize the brand’s focus on shared experiences.
