Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) assisted Prince George’s County firefighters with a house fire Sunday evening in the 15500 block of Straughn Drive in West Laurel.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, the fire, which began outside and spread to the attic of a two-story home, was quickly extinguished. No injuries were reported and three adults and two children were displaced.
