Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) and Gaithersburg Police responded at 7:10 p.m. Saturday to a reported shooting in the 9800 block of Washingtonian Boulevard in Gaithersburg.
According to MCPD, one person was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and no arrests have been made. The Gaithersburg Police Department provided the following update at 8:55pm:
“Officers from the Gaithersburg Police Department are investigating a shooting that occurred in the 9800 block of Washingtonian Boulevard in Gaithersburg.
On Saturday, October 25, 2025, at approximately 7:10 p.m., Gaithersburg Police officers responded to the 9800 block of Washingtonian Boulevard for the report of a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with witnesses who confirmed the incident. Later, Montgomery County Police were notified of an adult male arriving at a local hospital with a gunshot wound.The incident occurred inside a vehicle, and there is no known threat to the community at this time.
