Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded Tuesday evening to a fire at the Bethesda Park Condominiums on Braxfield Court near Parklawn Drive in Rockville, where flames were showing from a third-floor apartment.
According to MCFRS Spokesperson Pete Piringer, the fire was quickly extinguished, and several residents were assisted from the building. One person from an adjacent unit was transported with non-life-threatening injuries. Several families were displaced, and about 65 firefighters operated on the scene.
