Ice Cream Worx is now open at 20215 Goshen Rd in Gaithersburg, located in the former New Fashion Nails space in the Goshen Oaks shopping center.
In addition to ice cream, the menu features a wide variety of items, including hot dog “boats,” mac and cheese bowls, grilled cheese, Belgian waffles, crepes, chicken skewers, street foods and snacks, fresh-baked cookies, espresso, frappes, smoothies, and slushies.
Current ice cream flavors include Old Fashioned Vanilla, Chocolate, Extreme Chocolate, Pistachio, Cappuccino Crunch, Moose Tracks, Cookie Dough, “Oatmazing” Chocolate Chunk, Mint Chocolate Chip, and PlayDough.
Ice Cream Works is open Tuesday through Sunday with the following hours: Tuesday to Thursday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The shop is closed on Mondays.
“Ice Cream Worx has a unique mix of multiple flavor soft serve and hard-dipped ice cream, water ice, rolled ‘Thai’ style ice cream, sundaes, shakes, blends, ice cream tacos and nachos, and a variety of street foods, including hot dog ‘boats, loaded macaroni & cheese bowls, loaded grilled cheese, Belgium waffles, skewered chicken, American and Korean corn dogs, and crepes on weekends. A variety of coffee, espresso drinks, international teas, lemonade, ice tea, frappes, and smoothies. Gourmet popcorn and international chocolates.”
