“A Maryland Lottery Bonus Match 5 player in Germantown is the latest person to win a top tier $50,000 prize on the game, having matched all five numbers in the Oct. 30 drawing. The ticket was sold the day of the drawing at Kingsview Beer and Wine at 3406 Kingsview Village Avenue in the Montgomery County town. The ticket matches the first five numbers drawn, which are: 11, 17, 20, 26, 30. The Bonus Ball for the Oct. 30 drawing is 15, but it only comes into play for lower-tier wins.
Lottery officials urge all winners to sign the backs of their tickets and put them in a safe place. Players have 182 days (six months) from the date of the drawing to claim prizes. Instructions for claiming prizes are available on the How to Claim page of the Lottery website.
Prizes of more than $25,000 must be claimed through Lottery headquarters, either in person or by mail. Lottery headquarters is in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Boulevard., Suite 330, in Baltimore. An appointment is required to claim in person (no walk-ins). The appointment scheduling page shows all available appointment times.
For selling the $50,000 winner, the Montgomery County retailer receives a $500 bonus, equal to 1% of the prize total.”
