Silver & Sons BBQ at 5362 Westbard Ave. in Bethesda will offer complimentary “2×2” platters to veterans and active-duty military personnel on Veterans Day, November 11. Guests who present a valid Military ID may select two mains and two sides, with the offer available for dine-in orders throughout the day.
The restaurant, led by Chef Jarrad Silver, features a Jewish-Mediterranean interpretation of regional American barbecue. Silver, a Bethesda native, opened the brick-and-mortar location just over a year ago. Menu highlights include short rib pastrami brined for seven days, pulled lamb shoulder with garlic-ginger crust, baby back beef ribs, and Freebird Amish chicken. The restaurant also emphasizes seasonal vegetables, offering lighter, herb-forward sides designed to balance the richness of the proteins.
Silver & Sons encourages qualifying guests to visit on Veterans Day to enjoy the complimentary meal as a gesture of appreciation for their service.
