Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Train in Germantown

Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) 5th District officers and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded at 4:17 p.m. to a fatal collision involving a pedestrian and a train on Great Seneca Highway.

According to safety reporter Cordell Pugh, the incident involved a MARC Brunswick Line Train and occurred just outside of the Germantown MARC station.

MCPD issued the following incident alert: “5D officers and @MCFRS dispatched at 4:17 p.m. for a fatal collision involving a pedestrian and a train on Great Seneca Highway.
