One Person Shot Wednesday Night, No Suspect in Custody

Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) 3D officers and MCFRS were dispatched at 7:54 p.m. to reports of a shooting in the 3400 block of Robey Terrace in Fairland.

According to MCPD, first responders located an adult male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, and he was provided medical care. Police say no suspect is currently in custody, and the investigation remains active as detectives work to determine what led to the shooting.

9:52PM Update: During a canvass related to the Robey Terrace shooting, 3D officers discovered the body of an adult male in the 13800 block of Aston Manor Drive. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Major Crimes has been notified.

Summary of events, per MCPD: “The following is a brief summary of events regarding a shooting and homicide in the Fairland neighborhood on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
The preliminary information available  is that Montgomery County 3rd District officers and Fire Rescue personnel were dispatched to the 3400 block of Robey Terrace at approximately 7:54 p.m., where an adult male was found with a gunshot wound.
The man was reportedly shot in the area of Aston Manor Drive and ran to Robey Terrace, where 9-1-1 was called. He was transported to an area hospital alert and conscious.
At around 9:06 p.m., while canvassing the area, K-9 officers discovered the body of an adult male in the 13800 block of Aston Manor Drive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives were notified and are currently on scene. This is an active investigation, and it is too early to determine whether the decedent is connected to the initial shooting call.
The decedent will be transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause and manner of death. No one is in custody or has been charged in connection with the shooting or the death investigation.
A news release will be distributed once more information becomes available, including the name of the decedent following proper next-of-kin notification.”
