Gold Bunny Donut will open on Friday, November 28 at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, taking over the former Donutchew space near the food court and next to Macy’s.
The shop is operated by Kokee Tea, which launched a bubble tea kiosk on the mall’s lower level in November 2024. Gold Bunny’s menu will feature a wide selection of cream-filled and specialty donuts, including Banana Custard, Earl Grey Cream, Tiramisu Cream, and signature varieties such as Gold Bunny Biscoff, Matcha, and Dirty Chocolate Cream.
Gold Bunny Donut also has an existing shop at 2131 Pleasant Hill Rd. in Duluth, Georgia.
Donutchew, which began as a mall pop-up in November 2023 before relocating to the food court, closed in August 2025. The mochi donut brand continues to operate its Gaithersburg Rio Lakefront location.
