UPDATE: The hold at Northwood High School has been lifted. The school has returned to normal operations.
MCPS has placed Northwood High School in Rockville on lockdown Friday morning after a fight between two students, during which a gun was recovered.
According to Montgomery County Police, one student is in custody, and officials say there is no threat to the school community.
