The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) will conduct a sobriety checkpoint on Friday, December 5, 2025, as part of an ongoing effort to reduce impaired driving.
The operation will begin at approximately 10 p.m. at an undisclosed location within Montgomery County. Police say the exact location will not be released in advance, a standard practice intended to maximize the checkpoint’s effectiveness. In addition to the checkpoint itself, officers will conduct focused enforcement on impaired driving laws throughout the evening.
According to the department, the checkpoint is designed to promote public safety by removing impaired drivers from the road and reinforcing the importance of making responsible choices behind the wheel.
