$50,000-Winning Powerball Ticket Sold at Maryland Gas Station as Jackpot Climbs to $930 Million

A Powerball ticket sold at the Columbia Road Exxon in Fairland won $50,000 after matching four of the five white balls plus the Powerball in the December 8 drawing. A $50,000-winning Powerball ticket was  sold at the Columbia Road Exxon in Silver Spring won $50,000 after matching four of five white balls plus the Powerball in the December 8 drawing.

“Check your Powerball tickets from the drawing last night (Dec. 8) because a player in Silver Spring missed the jackpot by one number, but still has third-tier winner worth $50,000.

The winning Powerball numbers for the drawing are: 8, 32, 52, 56 and 64 the Powerball is 23. The Silver Spring player matched four of the five white balls plus the red Powerball for the $50,000 prize. The ticket was sold at the Colombia Road Exxon at 12601 Old Columbia Pike in Montgomery County.

No one matched all five numbers plus the Powerball, so the Wednesday, Dec. 10, jackpot has grown to an estimated annuity value of $930 million with an estimated cash option of $429 million.

Across Maryland, 21,663 Powerball players won prizes ranging from $4 to $100 in last night’s drawing.
