Between December 3 and 6, the Montgomery County Police Department’s Alcohol Holiday Task Force made 21 DUI arrests, two additional criminal arrests, and issued hundreds of citations and warnings during enforcement efforts.
Officers conducted 192 traffic stops, issued 222 citations, 238 warnings, 32 repair orders, four criminal citations, and six alcohol restriction violations, along with administering four breath tests.
Per the news release distributed on Wednesday, December 10: ” Members of the Montgomery County Police Alcohol Holiday Task Force will be devoting their full time and attention to detecting alcohol-related offenses this holiday season. During the week of December 3-6, officers conducted a checkpoint in Rockville, made 192 traffic stops and issued 222 traffic citations, 238 warnings and 32 repair orders. They also issued four criminal citations and six alcohol restriction violations. In addition, officers performed four breath tests, made two criminal arrests and arrested 21 individuals for driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs (DUI).”
