BurgerFi at 11881 Grand Park Ave in North Bethesda’s Pike & Rose has permanently closed. The locations in Gaithersburg (Rio Lakefront) and Downtown Silver Spring will remain open.
BurgerFi is a fast-casual burger chain known for serving all-natural Angus beef burgers, double-battered onion rings, handcut fries, wings, shakes, and custard. The restaurant opened its Pike & Rose location in April 2019.
According to the owners of this location, they recently purchased the restaurant at 1608 Village Market Blvd in Leesburg, Va., and will reopen it this Thursday following renovations. In 2024, BurgerFi International, Inc., the parent company of BurgerFi and Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza & Wings, filed for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
