The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect involved in an assault on a child at the Dave & Buster’s on the 8600 block of Colesville Road in Silver Spring.
According to MCPD, the incident occurred on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at approximately 10 p.m. Investigators say a 10-year-old girl was in the arcade area when she was approached by an unknown adult male who removed her shoes and socks and smelled her feet before leaving the area.
Detectives from the 3rd District Investigative Section are actively investigating and are urging anyone who witnessed the interaction, or who may have information that could help identify the suspect, to come forward. They are also encouraging anyone who may have had a similar encounter with this individual to contact them.
