Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) 3rd District officers were dispatched at 6:12 a.m. on Friday, December 18, to Georgia Avenue and Silver Spring Avenue for a collision involving a vehicle and an adult female pedestrian.
According to MCPD, the pedestrian was transported to an area hospital, where she later died from her injuries. The striking vehicle remained on scene.
