Signage is up for PopUp Bagels at 7607 Old Georgetown Road. The shop will be located on the ground floor of the Solaire apartment building and is expected to open in early 2026.
PopUp has been named one of “The 16 Best Bagels in New York City” by The New York Times and has garnered millions of likes on TikTok, where its small-batch, always-fresh bagels have developed a devoted following. PopUp Bagel has also won Brooklyn Bagelfest’s “Best Bagel” award two years in a row.
PopUp Bagel currently operates in California, Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, New York, and North Carolina. The business describes its bagels as “crispy crust and soft crumb center, just the right size and with a perfect proportion of seeds,” made in small batches for peak freshness. Founded as a backyard pickup window to share a new bagel recipe with friends, PopUp Bagel has since grown into a mix of pop-up and permanent locations.
