The Victims’ Rights Foundation is calling on the community to donate new winter coats for children ahead of a potential snowstorm expected to impact the region.
The urgent 48-hour drive is aimed at collecting coats for students in kindergarten through 12th grade, with donations accepted at the UpCounty HUB, located at 12900 Middlebrook Road in Germantown, where a press conference and community event will be held at 3 pm on Wednesday, January 21.
The coat drive is supported by the Peter B. Teeley Children’s Charity Foundation and builds on the Victims’ Rights Foundation’s 30-year mission of assisting children and families in need. Donated coats will be distributed to children at the UpCounty HUB, with the donation deadline set for close of business on Friday, January 23.
