Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) provided mutual aid to Prince George’s County Fire/EMS on Wednesday afternoon for a house fire in Laurel.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, the call was dispatched at approximately 1:30 pm to the 6400 block of Darwin Road. MCFRS units including PE715, T715, T716, and AT724 responded to assist crews from Prince George’s County Fire/EMS. Fire investigators were reported to be on scene as operations continued.
No information on injuries or the cause of the fire was immediately available. Additional details are expected to be released as the investigation progresses.
