A joint Cold Stone Creamery and Wetzel’s Pretzels location is planned for the Burtonsville Crossing Shopping Center, according to a leasing listing from EDENS. The new store will be located next to TJ Maxx at the shopping center.
Wetzel’s Pretzels is known for its hand-rolled, oven-baked snacks, including classic salted pretzels, pretzel-wrapped Wetzel Dogs, cheesy Dog Bites, and Pizza Bitz topped with pepperoni, along with sweet options and fresh lemonades. Additional Wetzel’s Pretzels locations are also planned to open in Montgomery County at Westfield Wheaton and Westfield Montgomery.
Cold Stone Creamery is known for its customizable ice cream creations mixed on a frozen granite slab with a variety of toppings such as candy, fruit, nuts, and baked goods. The brand already operates several Montgomery County locations, including in Gaithersburg, Germantown, Olney, and Silver Spring, with another location planned for Wintergreen Plaza in Rockville.
Earlier this month Yemeni-inspired Haraz Coffee house opened at 15701 Columbia Pike at Burtonsville Crossing.
