A winning lottery ticket worth $1,000 a week for life remains unclaimed as of Monday, February 2, according to MD Lottery.
The ticket was sold at Meridian Market and Wine, located at 5230 Tuckerman Lane in North Bethesda. The winning numbers for the January 27 drawing were 15, 26, 32, 44, and 59, with a Cash Ball of 1. The ticket was purchased on January 26.
Lottery officials said the winner has the option to receive $1,000 a week for life, paid as $52,000 annually, or to take a one-time cash option of $1 million. Both options are before taxes. Winning tickets must be claimed within 182 days of the drawing date, and prizes over $25,000 must be claimed by appointment at Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore.
