Detectives with the Montgomery County Department of Police Major Crimes Division Cold Case Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in locating Nancy Eillen Strohmeyer, a Germantown woman who has been missing for 10 years.
Strohmeyer was reported missing in February 2016 after last speaking with a family member by phone on the evening of February 3, and investigators continue to pursue new leads in the case.
At the time of her disappearance, Strohmeyer was 66 years old and lived in the 13100 block of Millhaven Place in Germantown. Police said her bed appeared unused and her morning medication was left behind, leading investigators to believe she may have left her home during the evening hours. Strohmeyer has Alzheimer’s or dementia, and authorities remain concerned for her welfare.
