Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) units provided mutual aid to Frederick County early Tuesday morning following a house fire in Ijamsville.
The fire occurred around 4 am on Desmond Place, with MCFRS assisting Frederick County Division of Fire and Rescue Services at the scene. MCFRS units including W713, PE735, W709, PE713, W735, and A735 responded.
One family was displaced as a result of the fire, and emergency medical services transported five patients to local hospitals for treatment.
