Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, in partnership with the Chinese Culture and Community Service Center, will host two free Lunar New Year festivals celebrating the Year of the Horse at Macy’s Court on Sunday, February 15, 2026, and Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The events will feature traditional performances, including dragon and lion dances, martial arts demonstrations, live music, and cultural dance shows. Additional activities throughout February include spring roll-making workshops, children’s clay art sessions, a fitness class, and Lunar New Year-themed retail promotions.
The celebration will also include a community clothing drive benefiting Interfaith Works, with donors receiving promotional offers from participating retailers. Shoppers who spend $50 in the mall on February 21 and 22 may receive a personalized Lunar New Year greeting card, while supplies last. All events are free and open to the public, though some activities may have limited capacity.
