Maryland’s six casinos generated $147.9 million in slot and table game revenue in January 2026, down 2.6 percent from January 2025, a decline Maryland Lottery and Gaming attributes in part to travel disruptions caused by a late-month winter storm. Despite the decrease, casino contributions to the state totaled $63.9 million, up 0.4 percent from the previous year, including $46.1 million for the Education Trust Fund.
Through the first seven months of Fiscal Year 2026, casino revenue totaled $1.12 billion, a 1.9 percent decrease from the same period last year, while state contributions declined 1.2 percent to $479.5 million. Casino revenues continue to support education, local jurisdictions, horse racing, and small, minority-, and women-owned businesses across the state.
