The Montgomery County Office of Emergency Management & Homeland Security has issued an alert as police continue searching for a missing 8-year-old boy last seen Sunday evening.
According to authorities, Anthony Howard was last seen near the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and Powder Mill Road on February 8 at approximately 8:15 pm.
He is described as a light-skinned, mixed-race male, approximately 4 feet 8 inches tall and weighing between 120 and 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, gray pants, and black shoes.
The Montgomery County Police Department is actively investigating and asking the public for assistance in locating the child.
Anyone who has seen Anthony Howard or has information about his whereabouts is urged to call 9-1-1 immediately.
Officials stress that timely tips from the community can play a critical role in helping reunite missing children with their families.
