Community Rallies to Support Germantown Family After House Fire

The community is rallying to support a Germantown family displaced by a late Saturday night fire at a single-family home on Forest Brook Court in the Crawford Farm area.

Firefighters were dispatched around 11 pm to the home off Waring Station Road for a reported garage fire, which was quickly brought under control before spreading further. All occupants and their pets were able to escape safely, no injuries were reported, and fire investigators continue to examine the cause of the incident.

A GoFundMe has been launched to help cover temporary housing, replace essential belongings, make necessary repairs, and assist with food costs as the family works to regain stability. Friends and neighbors describe the Manons as generous and always willing to help others, and the fundraiser offers the community a chance to return that kindness. Every contribution, regardless of size, is expected to make a meaningful difference as the family works to restore a sense of normalcy and security.
