According to police, the incident took place around 2:13 am on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the Community of Faith Methodist Church, located in the 22420 block of Frederick Road. Investigators say the suspect walked around the front of the church and attempted to open a door before gaining entry by breaking through a window.
Police describe the suspect as wearing a black open-face motorcycle helmet, black-framed glasses, a black jacket with yellow reflective stripes, a gray backpack with a black pouch, dark blue jeans, and black shoes with white soles.
