Maryland’s sports wagering market generated $10.9 million in state contributions in January 2026, bringing total contributions for the first seven months of Fiscal Year 2026 to more than $89.5 million, surpassing the full-year total from FY2025.
Most proceeds supported the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future Fund and the state’s General Fund, as bettors wagered more than $615 million in January, with operators retaining 12.5 percent of the total handle.
