“Best Sandwich Shop in Maryland” Announces Closing Date at Current Location

Full On Craft Eats & Drink has announced that its last day at its current location at 4007 Norbeck Road will be February 23, as the popular sandwich shop prepares to relocate to a new space nearby.

After 12 years at its longtime home in Rockville, Full On will be moving to 5566 Norbeck Road in the Rock Creek Village Center, the former location of The Creek Lodge Bar & Grill, which closed in November. The restaurant shared the update on Facebook, thanking customers for their support and encouraging the community to visit before the move.

Owners said no opening date has been set for the new location, as permits and inspections are still in progress. They noted that updates will be shared as the relocation process continues.

In 2024, Business Insider named Full On Craft Eats & Drink the best sandwich shop in Maryland based on Yelp reviews. The restaurant is known for its high-end, from-scratch sandwiches made with in-house roasted meats and homemade sauces, along with a rotating selection of regional beer and wine.

Co-owner, chef, and manager Michelle Houser Harris previously gained national attention as a contestant on season 14 of Hell’s Kitchen in 2015. The relocation marks a new chapter for the locally owned business as it transitions to its new home in Rock Creek Village Center.
