Montgomery County Alcohol Beverage Services will present a $95,224.83 check to March of Dimes on Wednesday, February 18, at its Olney retail store, representing customer donations collected during the five-week “Labor of Love” campaign.
The campaign, organized in partnership with UFCW Local 1994 MCGEO and supported by County Executive Marc Elrich, invited customers at 27 ABS stores to round up purchases or make additional contributions between November 23 and December 31, 2025. Corporate partners including Tito’s Handmade Vodka and William Grant & Sons also contributed, bringing the total raised to more than $110,000. The Olney store was the top-performing location for the third consecutive year.
The event will also feature tours of the March of Dimes Mobile Health Bus, which provides maternal health services and education throughout Maryland. Proceeds from the campaign support the organization’s efforts to improve maternal and infant health through research, advocacy, and education, addressing ongoing disparities and health challenges facing mothers and babies. The check presentation ceremony is open to the public.
