Montgomery County Department of Police 3rd District officers were dispatched at 1:29pm Thursday to Montgomery Blair High School for a report of a student with a gun.
While officers worked to verify the legitimacy of the report, Montgomery County Public Schools placed the campus on lockdown as a precaution.
Police later confirmed that one person was detained and it was determined that there was no gun. Authorities said there is no current threat to the Blair campus.
At 1:55pm, MCPD shifted Blair to a SECURE status.
