A Baltimore woman recently won a $1 million top prize from the “All About the Cash” scratch-off game after purchasing a ticket at a Royal Farms store in Towson.
According to MD Lottery, the retired banker said she first scanned the ticket and received a message instructing her to visit the lottery, then later scratched the ticket at home and discovered she had matched a winning number. She claimed her prize on February 20 at Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore.
The winner said she plans to invest her winnings and may use part of the money for a vacation to Hawaii, adding that she intends to stop playing the lottery after this win. The ticket was sold at Royal Farms – 7204 York Rd, which will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
