Montgomery County has launched an ongoing solicitation for organizations to operate Business Cohort Training Programs designed to support local entrepreneurs, small businesses, and nonprofits.
The program allows qualified providers to apply at any time through Solicitation #1193175, with contracts awarded based on clear criteria and work assigned on a rotating basis to promote transparency and equal access.
County officials said the initiative is intended to create a network of training partners focused on strengthening operations, financial management, and long-term growth. Marc Elrich said the approach is meant to simplify participation in the procurement process and expand opportunities for smaller organizations. The effort is supported by the Montgomery County Office of Procurement and the Montgomery County Business Center, which provide guidance and resources for businesses and nonprofits seeking to participate.
