8:30am Update: Traffic incident closes northbound I-270 ramp onto westbound I-370. I-270 thru and local lanes are open. Expect significant delays. Seek alternate route.
A tractor trailer collision Tuesday morning on I-270 northbound at I-370, Exit 9B, has blocked all lanes on the ramp to Sam Eig Highway.
Traffic is being diverted to I-370 east and MD-200 east, with delays confined to the immediate area.
All travel lanes on the I-270 Express Lanes and local lanes remain open. An extended closure of the ramp to I-370 west is expected as crews continue working at the scene.
