The Montgomery County Department of Transportation will offer a series of low-cost adult bike classes from April through June to help residents build confidence and safety skills while riding.
The program includes nine Learn to Ride classes and one Basic Skills class, led by instructors from the Washington Area Bicyclist Association. Classes are open to residents age 18 and older and cost $10 for Montgomery County residents, with free registration available for WABA and Capital Bikeshare for All members. Two free walk-up e-scooter classes will also be offered following select bike classes. Registration is required and opens online through the WABA website.
