Montgomery College has been designated a 2026 Leader College by Achieving the Dream, a national nonprofit focused on improving student success and economic mobility through community colleges.
The recognition highlights institutions that demonstrate measurable progress in expanding access to education, improving student retention and completion rates, and implementing evidence-based strategies that support student achievement.
College President Jermaine F. Williams said the designation reflects the college’s focus on helping students complete credentials that lead to meaningful careers and economic mobility. Montgomery College has been part of the Achieving the Dream network since 2016, and the Leader College recognition acknowledges the institution’s ongoing use of data-driven strategies and institutional reforms aimed at improving student outcomes and strengthening its impact in the community.
