Maryland’s sports wagering market generated $7,318,939 in contributions to the state during February 2026. Bettors wagered $515,655,127 during the month and won back $464,594,429 in prizes, with sportsbook operators holding 9.9 percent of the total handle.
Of the $7.3 million contributed in February, $5.5 million went to public education programs supported by the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future Fund, pushing total sports wagering contributions to education past $250 million since the program began. Through the first eight months of Fiscal Year 2026, from July 2025 through February 2026, sports wagering has returned $96,852,199 to the state.
