The City of Rockville Department of Public Works will begin its annual spring pothole inspection and repair program in early April following a winter marked by repeated freeze-thaw cycles that can weaken pavement.
During the first two weeks of April, crews will conduct a citywide assessment of roadways to identify potholes and other pavement damage caused by winter weather.
As crews inspect streets, they will repair eligible potholes on the spot and schedule more significant pavement deterioration for additional work later in the year. City officials say the program is part of Rockville’s broader street maintenance effort and encourage residents to report potholes and roadway concerns through the city’s online reporting system so crews can respond more efficiently.
