Montgomery County Government has announced a strategic collaboration with Taiwanese semiconductor company Galaverse Ltd Corp. to advance innovation in satellite communications and semiconductor technologies.
The partnership follows recent meetings in Taipei and includes plans for Galaverse to establish a presence at the Rockville Innovation Center through the Maryland Department of Commerce’s Global Gateway Program, which supports international companies entering the U.S. market. The company will also participate in the upcoming SATELLITE Conference & Exhibition in Washington, D.C.
The collaboration will focus on developing satellite communication platforms, expanding semiconductor research and manufacturing partnerships, strengthening supply chains, and supporting international technology exchange. County officials said the partnership is expected to attract investment, support job creation, and further position Montgomery County as a hub for advanced technology and space communications.
