Police Attempting to Locate Family of Pedestrian Struck by Bus

Montgomery County Police are attempting to locate family members of a man who was seriously injured after being struck by a Ride On bus in North Bethesda on March 25, 2026.

The Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the incident and is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying or contacting the victim’s relatives.

The victim, identified as 36-year-old Jose Erasmo Rojas, remains hospitalized in critical condition. Police said Rojas has ties to Newark, New Jersey, and has been in the Montgomery County area for approximately one year.
