Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation Names New Chief Operating Officer

The Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC) has announced Jessica Reynolds as its new Chief Operating Officer, with her role set to begin on April 20, 2026.

County officials say the appointment comes as Montgomery County continues to focus on strengthening its position in industries such as life sciences, advanced technology, and innovation, with Reynolds expected to help lead operational strategy, support business growth, and advance key partnerships.

Reynolds joins MCEDC from the Maryland Department of Commerce, where she served as Senior Director of the Office of International Investment and Trade and led efforts to expand foreign investment and export initiatives. Her previous experience includes international economic development work with organizations such as the U.S. Government and the World Bank. A Montgomery County resident, Reynolds has also been active in local community organizations and will now take on a leadership role within MCEDC’s executive team.
